Consider the exact chronological intervals of Scriptural events

Chronological Detail

An interminable series of events foreseen in detail and foretold in outline from the beginning, but also that time required for their connected occurrence was appointed and arranged even to a day; Time Codes. 

A general summary of the basic conclusions of the biblical text of the book of Daniel is briefly stated as:

1. The fourfold image of Daniel 2, symbolising the succession of Gentile Monarchies, extends from the rise of Babylon, and the fall of the throne of Israel and of Judah, to the restoration of both Israel and Judah; to the yet future establishment of the Kingdom of God on Earth.
2. That the appointed duration of this succession of four Gentile monarchies is "Seven Times," or 2520 years (seven times 360 years), a Great week, harmonious with all the various weeks of the Levitical economy ( Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Tabernacles); and of Jewish History.
3. That these 2520 years of the, Times of the Gentiles, like other periods of chronologic prophecy; and notably the great prophecy of the, "Seventy Weeks", to Messiah ; are measured by either Solar, Calendar or Lunar scales; and warrant the employment of each as all exist both in nature and in Scripture; and that sometimes the same period runs out on two or even three of the natural scales at the same time in its own (time coded) equation.
4. That the difference between these three scales is such that, "Seven Times", runs out on the lunar scale 75 years earlier than on the Solar. This difference between the two measures or the inequality between solar and lunar is called, " Epact". There is also an intermediate calendar scale; so that "Seven Times" may be either 2520, 2484 or 2445 ordinary years, according to which calendar scale is employed; as well, its half, known as time, times and 1/2, may be 1260, 1242, or 1222 1/2 ordinary solar years. The three scales have been in use among different nations in different ages.
5. That these prophetic periods should be regarded as extending ...not merely between certain events, but between certain groups of events; not so much between certain years, as between certain critical Eras of History; the first of which is the Captivity Era of Israel and Judah; (ie. Assyrian Era followed by Babylonian Era). The second critical Era is marked by the fall of the Western Roman Empire (collapsed in the 5th century ad, by  barbarian "Teutons" tribes from north Europe; Goths, Vandals, Franks, Burgundians, Angles, Saxons, and Jutes; Visigoths, Ostrogoths and Huns ); and by the rise of the Papal and Mohammedan Powers; this last Era of power in Scripture is called, the Time of the End. 6. That in the course of these eras, there will occur certain salient years of crisis, which are frequently cross-referenced to correspondent years of crisis in later eras; though the principal measures are between the eras themselves.
7. That the events foretold by chronological prophecy bear exclusively on the history of the Redemption of the human race, not only the nation of Israel. As such, political changes, such as the rise and fall of empires, wars, battles, sieges, victories, defeats, treaties, accessions of Kings, changes of Dynasty, publication of edicts and decrees, etc  are found to be reflective important incidents in the history Israel, the people of God, the Jewish nation or the Hebrew church; who are still the channel of the world's Redemption.

 All the events of chronological prophecy are certain with the exception of only two items (unable to be time coded); one between the death of Moses and the servitude under the Midianites and the other between the election of Saul and the death of Samuel. After the two gaps, Bible Chronology is consecutive and certain, and from the era of Nabonassar it is confirmed by Astronomy. 

The exact chronological position of the era of Nabonassar has been accurately determined by the verification of a series of astronomical observations, including eclipses recorded by Ptolemy, the time of whose occurrence was measured by ancient astronomers from this point.  (Claudius Ptolemaus 2nd century ad, observations between 127ad and 151ad.  NOTE: for his time and equipment Ptolemy set the standard for improving on the facts of the universe, though incorrect on the earth issue, science today accounts his figures either dead-on or close to those valid today). In dealing with the dates of the events of the, "Times of the Gentiles", we are assured of accurate authentic chronology and we can calculate the chronological distance between any two events, two a day and in some cases to an hour.

Though there are a considerable number of events over these past twenty-five centuries we rely on three distinct groups to keep our view manageable, which occurred in widely separated eras.   

1. The era of Literal Babylon
2. The era of mystical Babylon, called in Scripture Babylon the Great; Papal Rome Horn, a previous, Gentile power including all its off-shoots.
3. The era of the fall of the Moslem Horn, and its current off-shoot Gentile power, the Islamic Republic.
