Again, thought and reason is dependent on, “accurate truth”; Eve’s only mistake was adjusting the truth to accommodate the dialogue of her conversation.
Revelation Chapters 2 & 3, the seven churches belong to the Seleucid Kingdom 312-65 bc of Daniel 11. John speaks of the things which are with regard to the 7 golden lampstands (churches) of Revelation chapter 1, with regard to the Roman Empire and the Times of the Gentiles of his era (age)-(aion ) which ends with Daniel 12, the 1335 days which is the end of the Gentile age, not world. After the life time of John of Revelation, successive subsequent ages (periods) of Historical “TIMED” Events would occur; place names, location names and territorial rulers would change, as kingdoms and empires would change with the turn of history.
We want to amplify this Seleucid Kingdom; to bring greater understanding of Christ on earth, walking in the midst of His 7 churches. Why it was significant for Gabriel to explain in minute detail, the Historical “TIMED” Events of chapter 11 with regard to the Seleucid Kingdom .
Take note that for 3 Passovers Christ, as a rabbi/minister/prophet/priest walked in the midst of His 7 churches, not in his missionary journeys but at Passover. This can be seen by the narrative of Peter in Acts 2, as he addresses the crowd at the day of Pentecost. Those present for the Historical “TIMED” Event were the same major players of Revelation 2 and 3 who were warned by Christ to repent; Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, *Philadelphia* and Laodicea lay within the boundaries of the people represented by Peter’s dissertation in Acts 2; regarding the crowd who was attending the post Passover to the death and resurrection of the Christ.

It should be noted that the order of the seven churches of Revelation are arranged in a circuit. Starting from Ephesus traveling north to Smyrna and Pergamus, then southeast to Thyatira, Sardis and Philadelphia, until the southern and eastern limit is reached at Laodicea.
It is not until Paul ministers to the seven churches that this representative group is understood as the ministry to the Gentile world of mankind; the kingdoms of this world would become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ; the Bible text would go onto reveal that every knee and every tongue would confess Jesus of Nazareth is Lord. In succession, all the Gentile Kingdoms, the Islamic Empire 632 ad, the Ottoman Empire 1500 ad, Turkey 1699 ad, Ottoman Empire 1914 ad (1st World War), Turkey 1919-present, the Islamic Republic 1979 (Ayatollah Khomeini) and lastly, the10 Kingdoms of Daniel 7 & Rev 12:3 would comprise the nations that would eventually rage against Israel during the “End of Days; Historical “TIMED” Event, known in Daniel as the 1335 days; the end of the age , not world.
The Apostle John’s message was a message to the future periods of the 7 churches.
So, to view the storyline, we will pick-up …at King Antiochus Epiphanes IV, against whom the Maccabees rebelled.
Then move forward to how it applies to the Historical “TIMED” Events as detailed in Daniel 11
Through vivid text Gabriel conveyed to Daniel that time would converge on time, then time would repeat its events in different eras as had to do with the Kings and Kingdoms rising in the latter days of the Nebuchadnezzar statute. The shattered feet concluding the end of the Gentile Age. Timed events-Time, Times and a half, 1260 days, 1290 days, 1335 days, all clearly calculated event driven times in the history of mankind. “The Daniel Code”, the historic code from the hand of God; revealing the Grace given to mankind. The message, the angel, Gabriel fought to bring to Daniel secured within both the book of Daniel and clearly triangulated, point for point to accurately navigate through the book of Revelation.
Knowing that 1THESSALONIANS 5:1- states,
5:1 But of the times and the seasons (TIMED EVENTS), brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
5:2 for yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
5:3 for when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
5:4 but ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5:5 ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
5:6 therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
Knowing that ” The Prophets … prophesied, searching what or what “manner of time” (TIMED EVENT) the Spirit of Christ which was in them “did point unto”, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow them.” - 1 Peter 1:10, 11, A. R. V.
Parallel Study - Daniel and Revelation Historical “TIMED” Events
It should be noted that at the time of the terror of Antiochus Epiphanes, there was no voice of the prophets to comfort or console those, who in that period of indignation would be subject to the fierce persecution of Antiochus Epiphanes. Therefore, the minute details of the last 3 chapters of Daniel were to serve the purpose of letting the people know; God would be faithful to his promises, salvation would come; even through the Historical “TIMED” Events, of chapters 2 and 7 and 11. Thus, you have what the Islamic world and most of Christendom has failed to understand, the work of Messiah is/will be accomplished exactly as written. Though both entities have availed themselves of professing the bible of Abraham, neither has actually studied the dense meaning of the book of Daniel. Had Islam studied the book they would have seen that according to Daniel and his mentor, the Angel Gabriel; the “Prophet” to come Deuteronomy 18:15 had to arrive before the destruction of the Second Temple , 70 ad). This one fact allows Mohammed to stand as a prophet, just not “The Prophet” of Deuteronomy 18:15 . If Islam and Christianity had just just listened to Christ in Matthew 24:15 they would have heard the words concerning the End of the Age. Christ explained clearly and carefully to the disciples, “so when you see standing in the Holy Palace, the abomination that causes desolation, spoken by the prophet Daniel; Daniel 11:31; they would have realized from Daniel’s era the 1st desolating occurrence happened at time of Antiochus Epiphanes169-172 bc. Let the Reader understand is what the verse commands. Going on to acknowledge, “there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now - and never to be equaled again”. According to the Historical “TIMED” Event recorded in scripture you could only see the 2nd abomination that desolates, spoken of by Christ Matthew 24:15, as a future occurrence to His era, future being defined as after 1948), when Isaiah had declared Israel would became a nation again (a nation in a day, according to the book of Isaiah). Thus, Christendom would have understood that if there would be a Rapture it would have to occur between1884 (the end of the 1335 days) and 1948, which it did not. Take note that once you were standing look at the abomination in the Holy Place where it ought not to be (after 1948); you would already be in the great tribulation and rapture would have already passed you by. You exploit the; “Has God said”, avenue that Eve went up when you attempt to reckon God’s plan without the nation of Israel . In modern time Edward Irving, Henry Drummond, John Nelson Darby and later C.I. Scofield all promoted and propelled Rapture theory; as part of the dispensational division of history. An ancient *citation* from a sermon ascribed to Ephraem of Nisibis (306-373 ad.), clearly teaches that believers will be raptured and taken to Heaven before the Tribulation; this is an opinion but not truth. The reason the Apostle Paul was dictating letters to the churches was because they were bumping their heads against erroneous teachings and he was mailing-off letters to put out the fires of this error. It is Harvest not Rapture. Think about it, no substantive matter came out of the finding of the Dead Sea Scrolls to support Rapture. Everything in the book of Enoch supports Resurrection. The Apostle Paul’s thoughts and mind set on the subject (resurrection) would be akin to that narrated in detail, of the “James Hastings, Dictionary of the Bible” 1909. Also see the book of Enoch, Psalms, 2 Maccabees, and Wisdom for more detail. Mark 12:18-27, Matthew 22:23-32 Luke 20:27-38 and John5:28 amplify the truth of, and belief in the resurrection of the dead. Hebrews 11 is known universally for faith outlining in great detail the principal characters of faith, all who looked for the gain of a better Resurrection, not rapture.
Chiliasm – around 200 ad; the unofficial starting point for the rapture theory. “Has God said Resurrection or Rapture”? Those that believe Paul spoke it are missing the proper context of his statements and detrimentally miss-quoting him. Rapture would be a major Historical “TIMED” Event; it would not be cloaked in unassociated text. The authors that propelled Rapture into it’s present state all lived and wrote and died prior to 1948, therefore, each had no way to revise their work; they all would have revised their work based on the relevant new data; May 14, 19 48 Israel declared a nation.

Revelation 2 and 3 is a lead-in to determining three Historical “TIMED” Events, periods. 1. What you see; 2. The things which are; 3. The things which shall be. The three periods correspond with Daniel 11 through Daniel 12. The time period represents seven phases of history, Historical “TIMED” Events, revealing detailed summaries of predicted events, their prevalent characteristics and the destined outcome of each event in detailed chronological order.
The Antiochus Epiphanes episode is one of those prevalent characteristic marks which pin point the captivity of the nations given to Abraham in relation to not keeping the Mosaic and Abrahamic covenants. Deuteronomy 28, 29, 30.and 31; Genesis 17:9-10; The Mosaic covenant provides Blessings and Cursing, within comprehensive narratives of each chapter. The Abrahamic covenant states 1. You shall circumcise 2. Sarah shall have a son 3. I shall establish my covenant with Sarah’s son-as an everlasting covenant. 4. Ishmael, I will make him a great nation, but my covenant I will establish with Isaac.
Daniel 11 introduces the King of the South and the King of the North. History indicates Alexandar the great had four generals who after his death, resulted in two surviving generals who became the King of the South, Ptolemy and King of the North, Seleucus. Effectively as the prophecy records, Ptolemy held Egypt and Seleucus Syria .
The Seleucid Kingdom , Seleucus-Syrian Kingdom holds captive the lands of the seven golden lampstands until the end of the Gentile Age; which is the end only of the age, not world; ending also the time of Jacob’s trouble. Jeremiah 30:7.

At the Day of Pentecost, Peter speaks to these representative world national people who assembled for the celebration; the Parthian, Medes, Elamites, Mesopotamian citizens, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus (Asia), Phrygia (Laodicea), Pamphylia, Egypt, Libya, Cyrene, Rome, Cretans and Arabs.
Biblically this group represented all mankind, with regard becoming obedient to Christ; at the time of the writing of Revelation and to future fulfillment of the declared and demanded repentance of the people who comprised the seven churches; toward fulfillment of #3. The things which shall be (or the things which shall be after the 1260, 1290 and 1335 days; the evenings and mornings, the 42 months, and during the final 10 Kingdom days of the “Times of the Gentles”.
The “Gentile” world of mankind, as outlined in Biblical text, according to Daniel and Revelation is suspended in the fact that; Historical “TIMED” Events must occur and will result in the Stone Kingdom crushing the feet of the great world epoch statue, of the Kingdoms of the prophetic dream of Nebuchadnezzar.
It is not until Paul ministers to the seven churches that this representative great world epoch national group, (people, nations and languages), is understood as the ministry to the “Gentile” world kingdoms of mankind. The Biblical text had declared the kingdoms of this world would become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ; the Bible text would go on to reveal that every knee and every tongue would confess Jesus of Nazareth is Lord.
